A New Packaging Line for Loose Materials

companies understand the continual improvement necessity. In order to meet customers’ demands and to make the
manufacturing process more effective the new available possibilities are utilized. And in the business there is
the well known saying: “Packaging sells”. That is why it is inevitable to stress not only the product utility
value but also its exterior appearance - perceived by the customer- as well.
A new packaging line for loose materials, put into the operation in our company at the beginning of this year, offers three benefits: higher productivity, better product protection and improved exterior appearance of the material. The loose materials are packed into the multilayer paper bags provided by a self-closing valve on the top. The bag is closed automatically after filling. This makes the packaging process more flexible, faster and simpler in comparison to the sewing used up to now. The valve paper bags are made of an ecological recycling material and are well known as a packaging for building materials and food (cement, flour, etc.).

The new packaging line enables to fill the bags with loose material of various grain sizes and
various weights. The material dosage is a semi-automatic process controlled by a line operator.
The bags after filling are transported by a conveyer and laid on pallets. The shape of the new
bags enables to put them on the pallet in a better way and thus the transport to the customer is much
more secure.
