The prize Crystal Mercury 2013
On March 13th 2014 we were proud to take
the prestigious prize Crystal Mercury 2013 awarded by the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for the Carbon bonded basic
refractories production technological line. The Crystal Mercury was submitted to us by leading representatives of the Banská Bystrica
region and the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry as the main prize in the category „Innovation of technology, management and
marketing.“
The prize is an honour for us but at same time it is commitment to assure continuous improvement of services for our customers and the
company‘s processes itself.
The new technological line is the key investment
from the long term view. Products of this line are the main refractory materials currently used in the steel industry. Besides carbon bonded
refractories produced so far using so-called cold technology, the company´s product portfolio will be supplemented by a new product grades
produced using hot technology.
Thanks to this, our company will expand opportunities
to strengthen the position and competitiveness on the market. The technological line was projected in a mutual cooperation of our own experts and
employees of our parent company Magnezit Group. The completely new tempering kiln LUBENA is an integral part of the innovated technology,
used for final product thermal treatment. The kiln design represents an unique technical solution, currently the most advanced in Europe.
In addition to the quality of the products the kiln meets the strict criteria imposed to the environment protection. Another important
element of the investment are two automatic manipulators that can help to eliminate demanding hand work, especially during hot pressing process.
