SLOVMAG, a.s. Lubeník, a joint-stock company, is a producer of shaped and unshaped refractory products with an own raw material basis. Processing the raw material (MgCO3) from our mine we obtain magnesium oxide – the main substance our refractories are made of. The products from our plant are used in heat aggregate linings in iron, steel, cement, lime, glass and other industries, a smaller part of our production is used in agriculture.

      Beginning 2008 SLOVMAG, a.s. Lubeník became a member of the Russian holding MAGNEZIT GROUP, whose number of production plants hereby increased to eight. The other members of the holding are the four Russian plants Satka, Kyshtym, Magnezit-Intocast-Satka, and Sibirsky Magnezit, the Chinese companies Yingkou Dalmond Refractories a Wuxi Nanfang Dalmond Refractories, and the Dalmond Feuerfest Siegburg from Germany.
